January 18, 2012 [18/358] Made another month with Brandon. 56 months together & still going strong. <3 Of course we have our ups and downs, but we’ve been pulling through our hardships together. After he finished class, he came to Chaminade & surprised me with Sunflowers!! I loooooove sunflowers. It’s my ultimate favorite flower along with tulips & I was really surprised that he got me some. I was seriously smitten for the rest of the day because of him :D
“Guys don’t give girls flowers/gifts all the time because if we did, they’d expect it. You girls won’t be surprised anymore. That’s why we do it every once in awhile so you get surprised & you’ll be more thankful for it.” <- What he said is quite true!
I had 3 classes today: HI 451, EN 256, & PHY 140. Boy oh boy, what am I getting myself into? Haha, nah. HI 451 is going to be hella hard & I can’t slack because it’s a writing intensive class & falling behind is NOT an option. I hella need to write & read the required texts for that class. But my teacher is pretty awesome so I’m sure I won’t daze off too much in class :P EN 256 doesn’t seem so bad. A lot of reading, which I expected. PHY 140 seems soooo boring. -_- He talks so soft & monotoned, it’s hard for me to pay attention.
I also bought 5 books today. Spent exactly $100. I am sooo thankful that I was able to get my Astronomy book for $20 rather than $90. I was at the book store looking for the astronomy text & said out loud, “fuck it, it’s too expensive, I’ll buy it online.” I guess some guy overheard me and so he said, “Hey, I have that book. I can sell it to you for $20.” Whoohoooo he saved me soo much money :D
